The 2023 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships will take place February 7-12, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, at the Broadmoor World Arena.
Canada and the United States will send entire teams to this event, with three competitors in each of the four disciplines, whereas Japan will send three men, three women, two ice dance teams, and one pairs group in 2023 ISU Four Continents Championships
With so many top men competing, it will be a fight to the finish, and whoever ends up on the top step of the podium will have earned it. Ilia Malinin, eighteen, is the favorite to win his first senior men’s national title after becoming the first skater to land the quad axel in competition earlier this season. This year, he had the world’s second-best score, more than 38 points ahead of his closest American rival, Camden Pulkinen.
Coverage begins Thursday at 12:35 p.m. ET with the women’s short program, followed by the men’s short program at 9:45 p.m. ET.

In San Jose, California, Levito won her first senior US Championship. Levito, the 2022 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final silver medalist, has medaled in every senior competition she has competed in to date.
Tennell won the silver medal at the US Championships after missing the previous season due to a foot injury. Tennell, a 2018 Olympian and two-time US champion, is a bronze medalist at the 2020 Four Continents Championships.
Amber Glenn, who won bronze at the U.S. Championships in San Jose, completes the American women’s team. Glenn won bronze at Skate America earlier this season and will compete at Four Continents for the second time.
All three ice dance teams have previously stood on the podium at Four Continents and will look to continue Team USA’s strong ice dance legacy at Four Continents. Since the event’s inception in 1999, the United States has been on the podium every year and has topped the podium 13 times, including every year since 2018. (excluding 2021 when the event was canceled).
